Trent Nelson - My Wonderful Husband

He is the father of my twins and my best friend! Trent has a 7 year old son that he fought for full custody of because the mother is a drug addict. He has raised him on his own with no help from welfare and no child support.

I met him one October afternoon. My daughter(who is also 7) was in the same Kindergarten class and had the same bus stop as his son. He was very shy so we only talked when our kids got together to play after school. It took me 5 months to get up the nerve to ask him out. Since that night it has been unbelieveable! He is the most wonderful man i have ever met.

He is so kind to animals, he is a wonderful dad to my daughter (her biological father isnt around either) and he always thinks of me! When I was pregnant with our twins i had mood swings like you wouldnt believe! He never got mad and when i was on bedrest he was there fixing me meals, rubbing my back, taking care of the older two, and all of the housework! And he never missed an ultrasound either! After the twins were born we were so overwhelmed. No one to help us (our families live out of state) and on top of that they both had colic! I went through post partum depression VERY BAD! But he never left my side! I would tell him that he and the kids would be better off without me and he would always respond with “no matter what you say i will always love you!!” Not once did he get mad.

He is the best father/lover/husband/worker i have ever met. He would stay up with me till 3 am when the twins had colic and then turn around and get up at 6am and get the older 2 ready for school and then go off to work for 9 hours! Never once complaining! Anytime i have cried his eyes well up with tears and he just hugs me! He is a truely amazing man and A GREAT person to know! I just want to thank GOD for bringing him to me...I dont know how i ever got so lucky!
