Tiffany Rankin - The Wind Beneath My Wings

My daughter Tiffany is an inspiration to me and everyone she comes into contact with.  Always much older than her years at 21 she’s everything to me (her Mother).  She’s as multifaceted as the world most perfect diamond and a constant source of comfort and understanding to me and her brother and sister and her many friends.

She moved away from us a year and a half ago on a quest to be her own person and experience a world outside our small Iowa town.  If telling her I wanted her to stay would have stopped her Im selfish enough as her mother to wonder sometimes if I should have tried that but no...she, like all of us, has the right and the responsibility to live her life to the fullest whatever that may mean for her.

Me, her brother, and her sister worried at first what will we do without our little Jiminy Crickett, the one who always knew exactly what to say to make all of our problems not seem like such a big deal no matter what they may be. 

Even though she’s 3 states away from us shes never far from our hearts at all and we talk with her all the time and as always shes the same indestructible little dragon or angel.  Whatever we may need at the time and we all love her very much.
