My Boyfriend - He’s The Best!

I just wanted to take the time to thank my boyfriend (who shall remain nameless, because I know he’d want it that way).  He is so sweet and considerate, and he makes every day something to smile about.

On the weekends he always gets up around eight, because he’s so ingrained in his early work schedule.  Therefore, he inevitably wakes up before me.  He crawls out of bed quietly and closes our bedroom door behind him.  (He doesn’t want to wake me with whatever he’s doing in the rest of the apartment.) Then as soon as he hears me stirring, he puts on the kettle.  By the time I actually get out of bed, he has a hot cup of tea ready for me.  He greets me with tea, kisses and his sunup motto, “Good morning gorgeous.”

If it’s a weekday, he writes a message for me on our whiteboard before he leaves for work.  It always starts with that familiar phrase, good morning gorgeous, a promise to call on his lunch break, and an “I love you.” He tells me he loves me a dozen times a day, and every time is just as sincere and touching as the first. 

He always wants to help me and make my life easier.  If I’m cooking dinner, he wants to know what he can do.  If I even think about trying to do the dishes, he sneaks up behind me, kisses me on the neck and shoos me out of the kitchen.  Then he offers me a cup of tea, which I never refuse.

I am continually amazed at his good heart.  He just seems too good to be true, but then again, this has been his personality for the nine years I’ve known him.  And I just want to thank him for being who he is.  I love you m’dear.
