Ms. Israel - A Sympathetic Woman I Won’t Forget

I was always fearful of public speaking and sat in horror waiting and wondering when and whether the teacher would call on me to read aloud.  Being in high school the fear was more pronounced seeing that my peers would sit in judgement of me.  As my turn came...you can imagine the state I was in...I begged her to skip me and call on someone else.  To my total amazement she cheerfully agreed.  I was so thankful for something as small as this.  She understood my dilema and had the sensitivity and kindness to sympathize.  I’ll never forget her, for this little act meant the world to me.  Thank you, Mrs. Israel and god bless!
