Kindness of Anonymous friends
My mother is a sixty year old widow taking care of her invalid daughter by herself. Not only that, but she does so many things for others always putting herself last. She has a hard time making ends meet so when the van she drives broke down we were worried how to pay for the $2,000 bill. My mom desperately needs the van because of the wheelchair lift so there was no question we had to get the money somehow. The van had actually broke down on the way to the hopsital, since my sister was ill during this time. THings were just going from bad to worse. Everyone was worried about the money and my other sister and I were pooling our funds to help out the best we could. My mom had called and told me she would come by to pick up the money so I was suprised when she called back and told me she didn’t need it after all. She had called the repairshop and they told my mom that the bill had been paid in full. Confused, my mom said you must be mistaken and asked who paid the bill. She was told it was an anonymous person who wanted to help and asked their name be withheld. My mom was sobbing telling me this story, she was so touched by the anonymous friend’s generosity and kindness. We still do not know who generously paid such a bill, but their love and kindness will never be forgotten.
