Kerry Robinson - Just Returning The Favor

After I got divorced, I struggled with bills and putting food on the table for my 10 year old son and my 8 year old daughter.  I worked at a call center taking inbound calls and soon made friends with a wonderful woman named Kerry.  Kerry was everyone’s friend and was always doing good deeds.  Many people, in fact, hestitated to tell Kerry about a problem because she would struggle right along with you to find a solution.

After about two weeks of few sales, I was more stressed than ever.  I took my sales manager aside and explained to him I needed to do something different.  I told him I couldn’t feed my children on this pay and unless more calls started coming in, I would have to look for another job. 

The next thing that happened was amazing.  Kerry had heard about my problem (thanks to our sales manager) and invited me to her house that weekend for dinner.  I didn’t have the children and decided to go and have a little fun.

When I got there, Kerry’s kitchen was filled with boxes of food.  She had taken food from her own pantry, as well as gone shopping, to help me feed my children.  I could only cry.  However, Kerry did not let me feel down about it.  She told me someone had done the same for her when her children were little and she was only returning the favor.

Kerry is a wonderful example to anyone that has the chance to know her.
