Jordan Price - Comfort When I Was Sick

Jordan is very special to me.  He and I have been friends since our first week of college.  We had classes together, collaborated on projects, even lived together for a year.  I have endless memories of hysterical laughter, goofy moments, and deep conversation. 

Jordan is in Ecuador now, managing a music school, and I miss him terribly.  I feel inclined to tell a story that solidified our friendship early on.  Freshman year of college was a huge adjustment for me, as for everyone, and I found myself faced with the freedoms of no curfew, no parents, and lots of parties.  One rather unfortunate night, I went to a get together and had one jello shot too many.  Okay, it was more like eight jello shots too many, but whatever.  I found myself extremely ill, and having never gotten the slightest bit sick on alcohol before, even more freaked out.  But Jordan sat with me all night and comforted me through my momentary incapacitation, for which I’ve always been grateful.  And strangely enough, it marked a true bonding point in our friendship.  Anyway, thanks Jord for staying up with me that night, even though it was gross.  I miss you!
