Jason Grimm - A Sweet Brother

My brother is a remarkable human being.  My mother told me this story about him just the other day.

Jason and his girlfriend Katie were driving along in the dark one night, coming home from dinner.  Suddenly they saw the car in front of them swerve and drive off frantically.  Katie realized that the driver had hit a cat and that it was lying injured in the middle of the road.  Jason did not hesitate.  He pulled the car over, told Katie to stay put, and got out of the car.  He went over to the cat and found it still alive.  Gently he reached for it in order to lift it to the car. 

At which point the cat freaked out, scratched him violently on the arm a few times, and ran off into the woods.  Which, I guess means that not all good deeds go rewarded.  But I thought the effort was sweet on his part anyway.
