Erica Bryan - A beautiful girl

Erica, or “Reeka”, and I were slated for friendship by the fates. Fall of 2000 we became roommates at FSU and it was not exactly the smoothest of starts. Time passed and stories were swapped, and before long we realized that someday we would be these old grey broads, sitting on each other’s front porches drinking coffee, griping about our husbands and children, listening to whatever great new (or old) music we could get our hands on.  I am so grateful that our paths have merged.

Reeka is the kind of friend that people search for their entire lives. She calls. She puts you in your place. She reminds you that you are an amazing, worthwhile person no matter what.  She is graceful, kind, and hilarious. I look up to her and I am not alone in doing so - she is an inspiration to many. Her humility makes her admirable & her warmth is magnetic. I want her to know how many people love her and what a huge difference she’s made (and continues to make) in this world.
