Christian Dirusso - An amazing lawyer and friend

I work with children who have special needs. Almost all the children I work with have some form of Autism. Sometimes the schools fail to give these children what they need to help them live to their fullest potential.

I was working with a little boy last year and his mom was having a very difficult time trying to get his school to actually teach him. He was a very bright boy who was extremly intelligent, however, the school didnt see this because of his outward symptoms. We had tried everything to get the school to provide him with the education he needed and deserved. It was like we were fighting a losing battle.

My best friend is a lawyer and I just mentioned the case to him and asked if he had any advice. He listened to my side of the story then asked for the records from the doctors and the school records. He then took it upon himself to find out everything he could regarding the laws on exceptional children and our school district. Christian was amazing! In just a few months the little boy was attending a private school receiving the education he should have been getting all along at the schools expense.

What was so amazing was that he knew nothing about the laws at the beginning and he knew that he wouldn’t get paid, but he took the time to learn the laws and fight the case so this little boy could get an education. He hasnt stopped there either, he has volunteered his time to help many other families who are fighting the same battle with school systems. Because he cares so much about others the children and families in our county are no longer scared of the system, they feel impowered to stand up and fight for their children, because they know they have someone behind them that will make sure their children get the education they deserve!
