Beatrice Serna

Beatrice is the most kind and generous person I know.  The thing is, I didn’t realize this the whole time I lived with her growing up.  I just thought she put me and my brothers first because she was obligated to.  Little did I know how wrong I was.  It takes a special woman to be the kind of mother Beatrice was and is.  She is the most kind-hearted and giving person I know.  As an adult I can appreciate her more and I try to follow her example.  Should anyone be in need, she is there to help, she loves with her whole heart and she is the type of woman who marches to her own beat.  You will never hear her say anything negative about a friend or family member.  She’s compassionate and empathetic.  If I hurt, she hurts, if I cry, she cries, if I laugh, she laughs.  Bea is the most amazing woman I’ve ever known and I am honored to able to call her “mom”.
